The Castell 9000 - a true classic among graphite pencils - was launched on the market in 1905 by Count Alexander von Faber-Castell. Its quality as well as the large choice of hardnesses have made it an essential work tool for artists and draftsmen. Its lead is completely glued to the wood and is therefore very resistant to breakage. The Castell 9000 is available in 16 degrees of hardness, ideal for all artistic and technical work.
