Montblanc Donation Pen Johann Strauss Special Edition Rollerball Pen

The Montblanc Donation Pen collection pays homage to world-renowned classical musicians of recent decades. For each Montblanc Donation Pen purchased, 20 euros (for fountain pens) or 10 euros (for ballpoint pens and rollerballs) are donated to support cultural projects led by pioneering artists from around the world. The selected projects will be communicated on the Montblanc website in due course. This year's edition pays tribute to the Austrian composer of Viennese waltzes and operettas Johann Strauss (son) nicknamed the "king of the waltz". The design of the writing instrument is inspired by the very first Donation Pen in honor of Leonard Bernstein. Its clasp is reminiscent of a violin archer, in reference to his favorite instrument. Strauss' signature and the Montblanc name are delicately engraved on the cap ring. The special gift box also contains a music box with an excerpt from his most famous waltz, "The Beautiful Blue Danube". The nib is engraved with a bat in reference to his famous operetta “La Chauve-souris”. The cap and the body in black precious resin are equipped with attributes gilded with champagne-colored gold.
