Montblanc Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days LeGrand Fountain Pen

The Meisterstück Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by Jules Verne's famous adventure novel. The LeGrand fountain pen in blue precious resin refers to the first part of the journey. Its main characters travel from London to Bombay, essentially in a steamer, crossing the Mediterranean Sea and then the Suez Canal. The cap is engraved with a design representing the key elements of the novel: waves, card signs and a cartouche containing a laser-etched steamer. On the top of the cap is the embossed duration of the trip, ie 80 days including 18 from London to Bombay. The writing instrument features a handcrafted 14K rhodium-plated nib, which features the hot air balloon, along with the start and end dates of the adventure.
